When have You had your last service?
Do you love your car more than your body?
Have you been driving your body around with extra jerry cans stored in your body? Are your tyres inflated to the right pressure?
Do your oil, fuel and air filters need changing? What about the spark plugs and the carburettor?
Our bodies have amazing similarities with our cars and their engines.Cars run more efficiently if properly serviced and tuned up every now and then. And so do our bodies.
The type of car does not matter. It could be a big car with a big engine or a small car with a small engine. We were not given a choice as to what size engine we have in our bodies, but we do have every chance to ensure that our engines run efficently.
Although very nearly perfect, our bodies however have some very important defects!
If we put the wrong fuel into a car it will stop – if the car’s carburettor is badly adjusted it will throw out the excess fuel through the exhaust.
Our bodies however can run on a vast variety of fuels. Some good, some not so good.
Because of our body’s defects it does not stop altogether when filled up with the wrong fuel nor does it throw out unburned fuel through our exhaust. At least not in the short term, but it will clog up the system and will eventually bring you to a full stop (heart attack)
Even worse is the fact that our body’s tank has the ability to expand and our fuel gage is very slow to indicate when the tank is full. ( If we would wait just a little while before going for the second helping, our guages would soon indicate that the tank is full – but who wants to wait?)
When a cars tank is full it is full – if we want to carry extra fuel in our cars we need jerry cans – and who in his right mind drives around with explosive fuel in the boot for any length of time?
Our body’s tank can and is only too often over filled and as we do not need the extra fuel, our bodies store it (and we all know where) This is just as explosivly dangerous as jerry cans are in the boot of our car
Tune up your body now before it’s too late!
The government is warning that in a few years time the NHS will no longer be able to cope with health problems brought on by excessive weight. You will be treated just like smokers are treated now – and not just with contempt – you might not be treated at all!
